As one can see the astrologer love to conjure up images that are graphically exciting and yet their message bears no real truth but is based on star charts that are off by over 2000 years.

Although the whole astrology has some of its roots in the fertility cults of the past, its time to get safe sex into the mix. Quite clever?

Astrology Myths

Astrology has been around the neighborhood for a long time. Many have tried to make there living on the desire of others to know "the future." The so-called "art" of prognosticating through the movements of the heavens is a false practice based upon the belief that the planets positions among the constellations somehow effects change in the lives of on a daily basis

When was the last time you checked your horoscope? Do you even know where the term "horoscope" comes from? It comes from the Egyptian god, Horus was born to the supposed virgin goddess Isis after she retrieved all the body parts of her murdered husband Osiris, who had been dismembered by his brother Set. She was unable though to retrieve his penis which was thrown into the Nile and eaten by a catfish (yummy), and then Isis used her magic powers to somehow resurrect Osiris (no doubt as a eunuch)and fashion a phallus made of gold to conceive her son (hmmmm?).

There are of course variations on this tale, but all of them seem strikingly similar to the story of Yashua of Nazareth. The word comes from two words in the Greek: horos, horus and skopos, scope (which comes from the Greek word fro skeptic). Literally it means "the scope of Horus." But even in its etymology it is to met with "skepticism as its root tells us.
